Dabiri Foundation has sponsored Dr. Modjtahedi Foundation since its inception. The fund will be used to grant interest free loan to Iranian-American student across U.S.

Dabiri Foundation sponsored the production of a play, recorded on DVD, of the legendary tragic tales of the ancient tales of Rostam and Sohrab. The Foundation embarked on this journey to honor the millennium of the author of the stories and the father of modern Persian language, Ferdowsi, and at a time when tragedies have become a part of our daily news. Half of the revenues generated from the sale of the DVD will be donated to the Dr. M. A. Modjtahedi Foundation.

Dr. Modjtahedi award has been given to the best high school graduates annually for the past 12 years at the Association of Professors and Scholars of Iranian Heritage (APSIH) event. This award will be sponsored by the Dabiri Foundation starting 2009.

Dr. Modjtahedi life time achievements were celebrated on April 19, 2009 at the UCLA Faculty Center with more than 300 attending the event.

Dr. Mohammad Ali Modjtahedi (Sept.23,1908 - July 1,1997) was a lifetime educator, highly respected university professor, and the cherished principal of the prestigious Alborz High School in Tehran, Iran. He was also the founding President of the Sharif University of Technology (originally Aryamehr University of Technology), Dean of Tehran Polytechnic University (currently renamed Amirkabir University of Technology), National University, and Shiraz University. Dr. Modjtahedi's lifetime achievements were celebrated on April 19, 2009 at the UCLA Faculty Center with more than 300 attending the event.

Dr. Modjtahedi's Student Loan Fund, established to fulfill one of his wishes, was announced and received tremendous support.

Youth Care is a residential treatment center for adolescents. Pre-teen or teenager will receive intensive therapeutic services from caring, experienced therapists who only want to see the child succeed. In addition to counseling, the child will participate in an accredited academic program with certified teachers whose only goal is to prepare students for their future.

STOP-GAP is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to use theatre as a therapeutic and educational tool to make a positive difference in individual lives. The "Iranian Children's Rights Society", established in 2000, is a children's rights advocacy organization. It is comprised of volunteers in Southern California who want to raise awareness about the Iranian children.

ICRS is an independent, non-profit, and non-governmental organization without any political affiliations. Focusing on the Articles of the United Nation's Convention for the Rights of the Child (CRC), ICRS tries to identify and facilitate the means by which children in Iran can attain an appropriate standard of living through the proper provisions of nutrition, health, education, support, and protection.

ICRS will offer its services to all individuals regardless of nationality, race, religion, or sex through non-profit and non-governmental organizations which are committed to advocating the UN Convention on Child's Rights.

There are plenty of young men and women who are not fortunate enough to be able to pay for their college expenses, even though they are intelligent and posses the skills required to succeed in school. This scholarship will allow more students to have access to higher education at UW, thereby furthering their knowledge and skills that will lead to more successful and fruitful lives.

This community based project started in 2009 in an extremely poor region of Peru. The project goal is to motivate a community to reach and sustain a self-directed development process which takes about three to five years. This could be accomplished mainly through training, field trips and small-scale trials. The project emphasizes that most of the improvements be accomplished with community labor and inputs.

This project started as an experiment in Guatemala in 2002 to investigate the possible increase of crop yields using green manure technology. In reasonably humid areas, the practice of green manuring can improve yield and soil qualities. A green-manure crop is grown and plowed under for its beneficial effects. These green crops are usually annuals, either grasses or legumes, whose roots bear nodule bacteria capable of fixing atmospheric nitrogen. The result of the experiments have been very successful, encouraging small farms to become profitable, thereby reducing the migration of farmers more to cities in search of employment.

The heart of Common Hope’s work in Guatemala is education. It provides the necessary resources for over 2,700 children to attend school each year in seventeen villages outside of Antigua and Guatemala City. The organization understands that education is about more than books and uniforms – a comprehensive approach is critical to help students and their families to reach their full potential. “House of Iran” is located in Balboa Park, the cultural section of San Diego. Balboa Park hosts over 15 million visitors per year from all over the world. Funding for construction became possible through donations mainly from the Iranian-American community of San Diego. It opened to the public in 2003. The cottage was donated to the City of San Diego in appreciation for the opportunities that the Iranian-American community has found and enjoyed in the city.
